Maurer, 17, a member of the Visa Women's Ski Jumping Development Team, jumped 59.5 and 59 meters on the 64-meter hill. Sabina Gasienica, of the Central Division, was 2nd with jumps of 53 and 51.5 meters.

The Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage hosted the 2014 Junior National Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Championships in February, which are supported and recognized by the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association.

"We're excited to watch as young jumpers like Manon and Sabina progress in the sport," said Alan Alborn, Women's Ski Jumping USA Head Coach and Athletic Program Manager. "There's no doubt that women's inclusion now in the Olympic Games gives more young jumpers a goal to reach in the future."
